Rodrigo González Prieto (n.1936)
Nace en Boadilla de Rioseco (Palencia) en 1936. Los primeros estudios musicales los desarrolla en una rondalla (grupo musical típico español) a los 12 años. A los 17 años se traslada a Burgos (España) y es miembro de una banda musical militar. Allí desarrolla su labor musical durante 4 años. Además recibe estudios musicales en el conservatorio de dicha ciudad (Burgos), estudiando armonía y trompeta. Tras cuatro años se traslada a Madrid, donde estudia violín con un miembro de la ONE (Orquesta Nacional de España). Después emigra a Alemania (Kassel) y allí recibe estudios violinístico con el maestro Hugo Grund, especialista en la música de J.S.Bach. Tras dos años vuelve a Madrid donde sigue estudios violinísticos con el maestro Jose Carlos Rodriguez Sedano (violinista compañero en USA de J. Heifetz).
Como compositor tiene en su catálogo 200 obras, de todo tipo, que abarcan desde un Requiem y dos sinfonías, hasta múltiples conciertos de cámara con solista, cuartetos de cuerda y corales. Su música se publica en la editorial alemana Noten Roehr Music Publisher:

Rodrigo González Prieto (b.1936)
He born in Boadilla de Rioseco (Palencia, Spain) in 1936. The first musical studies were carried out in a rondalla (typical Spanish musical group) at the age of 12. At the age of 17 he moved to Burgos (Spain) and is a member of a military musical band. There he develops his musical work for 4 years. He also received musical studies at the Conservatory of said city (Burgos, Spain), studying harmony and trumpet. After four years he moved to Madrid, where he studied violin with a member of the ONE (National Symphony Orchestra of Spain). Later he emigrated to Germany (Kassel) and there he received violin studies with the teacher Hugo Grund, a specialist in the music of J.S.Bach. After two years he returned to Madrid where he continued his violin studies with the teacher Jose Carlos Rodriguez Sedano (fellow violinist in the USA of J. Heifetz).
As a composer, he has 200 music works of all kinds in his catalog, ranging from a Requiem and two Symphonies to multiple chamber concerts with soloists, string quartets and choirs. His music is being published by Noten Roehr music publisher:
